Philly T ...a short Biography
From his home town of Newcastle upon Tyne, Philly T is a self-taught Jackson dance impressionist, with a home-grown Geordie passion for dancing in the footsteps of his life-long idol: The King of Pop. Having spent over 20 years studying every footstep, every turn and every gesture of the man himself, there is simply no other northern impersonator whose talent and drive compare to the fire, passion and excitement of Philly T on stage. Having drawn crowds doing what he does best in some of Newcastle’s most prestigious Nightclubs, he has become known as
“The Geordie Michael Jackson”.
Performing regularly around the UK and abroad, and at the biggest Michael Jackson events over the past 7 years,
Philly T has built up a solid reputation based on his fast and energetic, 'non-mirrored' dance routines, freshly remixed soundtracks, and is the only MJ impersonator to incorporate LIVE (on-stage) music into his act!
